Deliberately conceived at an intermediate scale (approximately 50 × 90 cm), this lamp does more than illuminate; it asserts itself as a contemporary torch, a sculptural presence designed to enhance a coffee table, console or side table. It redefines the vertical axis of the furniture on which it rests.
Its base is sculpted from solid natural wood, its simple geometry concealing a deeper intention. A vertical opening carved into its body transforms the base into a precious niche for large-format books — the art books we choose to display. This union of light and literature gives the piece a dual purpose: a beacon for the mind and a refuge for knowledge.
Conceived as part of the “Lumière & Lecture” collection, FLAME INTIME favours a pure expression of material. The choice of oak with a regular grain creates a monolithic presence, concealing the complexity of its handcrafted construction.
The bespoke lampshade, meticulously finished with rolled edges, reflects the same exacting attention to craftsmanship. A piece of distinctive character, defined by the nobility of its materials and the precision of its execution.
